I'm a B.Tech Computer Science student at VIT Vellore with a builder's mindset — I learn by shipping. My focus is on software engineering fundamentals, applied AI/ML, and using modern tooling to take ideas from prototype to product fast. Recognized as Best Freshers for innovation at a hackathon, I enjoy collaborating on real-world problems and building things people actually use.

Challenge

College freshmen face mental-health pressure but rarely seek help due to stigma and access friction.

Solution

Built an AI-powered wellness assistant that gives students a private, judgement-free space to talk, track mood, and surface campus support resources.

Impact

Won Best Freshers and a ₹2,100 cash prize for innovation and execution at the hackathon.

Emotion-Based Study Assistant

Challenge

Students lose focus, get frustrated, or burn out during long study sessions and have no feedback loop to course-correct in the moment.

Solution

Built a desktop app in C++ and OpenCV that uses the webcam to detect facial expressions in real time, infers emotional state locally with a trained ML model, and adapts the session — suggesting breaks on stress, uplifting music on low mood, and reinforcement when focused. Includes Strict/Relaxed modes, productivity scoring, a study timer, and activity logging. AI assistants were used to accelerate development.

Brings emotion-aware coaching to studying while keeping all processing on-device for privacy.

AI Page Summariser — Chrome Extension

Gemini-powered reading assistant for any webpage

Challenge

As a first-year student reading dense coursework and research, information overload made it hard to extract what actually matters from long pages.

Solution

Built a Chrome Extension powered by Google's Gemini AI that delivers 1-click smart summaries in 5 styles (Gist, Bullet Points, Executive Summary, ELI5, Detailed), a context-aware page chat, right-click summarize-selection in a floating UI, native text-to-speech playback, and copy/.txt export. Uses a BYOK model — keys stored locally for full privacy.

Impact

Cuts reading time on dense pages and gamifies it with a built-in 'minutes saved' counter, making study sessions faster and more focused.

SafeStep — Smart Healthcare Monitoring & Emergency Alerts

Challenge

Elderly people and patients can't always call for help during a fall or medical emergency, and traditional monitoring depends on manual supervision and slow response.

Solution

Built SafeStep — an ESP32 wristband streams accelerometer and gyroscope data in real time to a React + TypeScript dashboard backed by Supabase and Firebase Realtime DB. A fall-detection algorithm runs on the live telemetry and instantly triggers an automated WhatsApp alert to the caretaker via the Twilio API, with no action needed from the wearer.

Impact

Closes the response gap in emergencies — caretakers get notified the moment a fall is detected, with live telemetry to back it up.
